Hey, guys im not sure how to answer this question in my chem workbook.

Q) In an assessment task, you will analyse the iron content of fertiliser using redox titration. Describe another way an analysis for iron could be performed.


Help would be appreciated heaps! THANKS :)

well, if you are up to that bit. You can analyse the iron content using AAS (Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy)
Since Iron is a metal,

1.What you do is first prepare a set of standard solutions of
2.Then run the standard solutions via AAS, and obtain a calibration curve
3.Run the fertiliser sample in AAS, and use the calibration curve to deduct the concentration
