First time ever!
The year before like two people got over 40 (max was like 42 I think) and one of my friends got a 25.
SHE IS NOT INEPT.
Just bad teaching - our class committed to teaching ourselves after that, and so we did.
We went to other teachers for help, we organised to go to VATE lectures etc, we shared interpretations and went beyond what our bat of a teacher wanted us to do.
Now I really wanna know who this teacher is... is she still teaching?
Haha she just resigned like, a month ago but is finishing out the year.
She wasn't teaching lit this year though, an English teacher took over (y)
Wait, are you serious? How do you even know that? o_O So many teachers leaving though T_T gah.
Yeah, she's teaching again next year
Never had her, so dunno what she's like.
Because my friend works at the Jr school and ERC doing after care and stuff and she was in our class and said teacher talks to her a lot.
And then my other friend was a Lit repeater and they got new texts with Ms Tendelli, the new lit teacher o:
BAD ONES.
Basically, it was not to be unexpected because our class went to a variety of different people, including the coordinator, head of English and vice principal to discuss how we thought she wasn't fit to teach the subject. Which may sound mean but DESPERATE TIMES.
I never had Ms Tendelli but I hate her (still she is on the VATE board so I guess she is partially qualified...we shall see) - at least other teacher liked me a lot so she actually just let me skip the whole poetry unit because she knew if she let me stay I would be really irate and hate on John Donne the whole time because I think he is an idiot.
Ahh okay.
Well, we're getting new texts again next year, I'm pretty sure. We're doing Frankenstein, and Blake for poetry, can't remember anything else. But yeah.

woaaah seriously? I wouldn't have the guts to do that. But if she really wasn't fit to teach... *shrug* I dunno, since I've obviously never had whoever it was.

Wait, why do you hate her? She seems okay. Although she's already labelled me as the "genius" child, FML.
To sound stupid, but what is VATE?
And don't know anything about John Donne, or his poetry so can't really comment *shrug*
Do you think it's okay for me to do lit 3/4 next year, without having done the 1/2? I worry that I'll have no idea what they're talking about or something and fail it T_T or something like that
