Out of interest, would anyone know what percent of the state you would lie in for the following study scores?
39
35
30

So far I only know that above a 40= top 91% and a 45= top 2%

Just to correct one of your known stats, being 40+ means top 9%, not top 91%. Top 91% is nearly everyone else under 40. Try looking at some VCAA bell curves.

Looks as though I may have the answer to my own question. Here is this if anyone is interested:

* 2% of students will get a score on or above 45
* 9% of students will get a score on or above 40
* 26% of students will get a score on or above 35
* 53% of students will get a score on or above 30
* 78% of students will get a score on or above 25
* 93% of students will get a score on or above 20.

But if anyone can be a little more specific on a study score for a 39, please let me know!

39 would probably be top 11%
