Year 12 EngLang Transition

Just wondering what knowledge should i take from uni 1/2 into 3/4, metalanguage wise.

I know that most of year 12 is based on unit1 metalanguage, but if anyone has done 3/4 and knows specific terms from 1/2 that are beneficial for 3/4 could they please tell us?

and could someone please give me sorta a rough outline/examples of what unit 3 entails. just really confused from reading the study design.
