wow! people are so crazy doing exams before school's even started!

+1, I think that is a formula to burning yourself out too early and getting bored

Yeh, regarding Summer prep and whatnot, I really hope newcomers aren't coming into this thread and thinking that they need to do this crazy stuff. I just followed the pace of my class, started doing practice exams about 3 weeks to a month before the exam and did fine. I went into Bio with no prior knowledge whatsoever as well, and we didn't have any Summer homework.
