Japanese SL Tuition [Premiers award, JLPT N2]

My name is Khoa Ly, and I am offering tuition for Japanese (Year 7 to VCE Japanese SL) in 2011. I am very passionate about Japanese, (as well as languages in general) and will strive to ensure you improve your Japanese as a language, as well as score well in VCE Japanese SL.

The type of student that would benefit most from my tuition would be someone struggling with Japanese at school, or not quite at the top of the class (B average and below). I intend to offer structured lessons that push your abilities in Japanese to a higher level as effectively and efficiently as possible, while reviewing material previously taught to ensure that there are no gaps in your knowledge. The lessons will mainly be on Japanese as a language, and not be too focused on assessment material such as SACs or Exam preparation.

For VCE 3/4 students, closer to the exam I will assist you with Written and Oral (General Conversation and Detailed Study) preparation, but until then lessons will revolve predominantly around Japanese as a language, not VCE assessments.

Tuition is at the super low price of only $25 an hour! I can tutor on weekdays or weekends, at either the State Library, the University of Melbourne, or somewhere near my house in Mulgrave.

Qualifications

• Graduated from Melbourne High School with a perfect raw score of 50 in Japanese SL (2009)
• Sole recipient of Premiers Award for Japanese (2009)
• JLPT N2 (2010)
• Currently studying Japanese at the University of Melbourne in the super advanced stream (fourth year Japanese starting point)
