how come when i plot a graph on the ti-nspire with a given doman I'm unable to trace the graph ?

does anyone have a solution to this ?

Hmm that happens sometimes...
I'm not sure how to fix it, but an alternative you could try is "Trace All" instead (Menu - Trace -  Trace all)

Ah i dont know what you really mean...however:
If you mean a graph goes from say [2,6] and only exists in that domain, when you trace a dotted line appears at x=0, u have to move the dotted vertical line right until it actually goes over the graph, then the trace point exists. Most of the time people dont notice the line cause its blocked by the y axis.
