Hi,
Is TI-89 graphic cal a CAS calculator?
Is TI-89 graphic cal better than TInspire (black)?
What does TI-89 use for?
Is there a new edition for the TI-89 graphics cal?
Is TI-89 in colour(for the newest edition)?
Thanks

Is it in colour?
Lol, I thought the best for exams is TInspire cal....
as TI-89 can't do much calculating stuff(calculus), it just focus on
graphing..

How many questions on calculators do you intend to ask? :P
You're going to get different opinions on calculators, you have to find out which one you like and which one you want to use, no one else can answer that for you

and no, there is no colour version of the ti-89

it's probably just as good as the nspire for exams, neither of them will be pushed to any great extent in vce maths

and no, it's a cas, so it focuses on both the calculus and graphing

no ti-89 is great, learn to use it inside out and it'll be more than sufficient for VCE exams lol

Deciding which calculator is best is really just a matter of opinion. If you go to a large enough extent of knowing your calculator back to front, they all pretty much do the same thing. The only difference is some functions are more accessible on some calculator's than others.

I have used the black TI-89 Titanium since year 10 and I haven't found any problems.

We should have rules regarding repeatedly asking the same question in different threads! :D
