How do i solve these without a calculator, can someone show me :) pretty please.

Remember that the expansion of (you can find this using binomial expansion)
This same expansion applies, where a = 4x, and b = 3y.
Therefore,






Question 2:
For this question, I find it better to use an "estimated" trial and error approach.

You want the first x-term to have a power, such that the second term has the same, but negative power (so that they cancel each other out). You could simply try a few combinations, but you will find that it will be the 3rd term (i.e. when is raised to a power of 4, while the is squared -> this will result in x^12 terms as shown below).

Therefore,
The third term will be:

actually dude, ur answer to qs one is correct, but thjeirs is incorrect, because if u notice they forgot to put the y^2

Uhh these are really bugging me, i need to graph them labeling all asymptopes, and intercepts... can someone please show me how
