Referencing in engineering

What style do they use when referencing as I'm a bit sure and cant find it anywhere?

go here, then down to number 4, it says you can use the Harvard or IEEE referenceing system, then shows you what each one is.

I always use the Harved style when referencing my work, I think it's the easiest.
