General Section instead of others...

Dont you think its better if we have a "General Section" instead of others like in General section we can right about anything we want...

the "other" section is the general section... you can write about anything you want there... provided that people can put up with it.

Maybe he was referring to how "Other" is a bit of a bland name... or maybe it is a bit too ambiguous.
