STIMULUS RESPONSE

Could someone please help me out :)
Would I be able to do Pupil dilation as an example of Stimulus response model? If so, what could I write for the
Stimulus, Receptor, Control centre, effector, response? 

Could i say Stimulus; low level of light, Receptor; sensory receptors in Retina?, control centre: ? response; pupils dilating (mention iris muscle?)

Yep
Receptors are photoreceptors in retina. Control centre is sympathetic nervous system. Definitely mention iris smooth muscle dilating pupil to allow more light to enter the eye.

I think it's because It's a reflex type action. Fight - flight response?

^ Because it's exerting an excitatory rather than an inhibitory effect - exactly - fight or flight response type thing :)

I assume more so because he's learnt it before. They wouldn't expect you to know in the exam and they'll give you enough background information to answer the question with.

How much of chapter 7 do we really have to know. I have done a summary of the whole chapter, but theres a lot of crap on bacteria that I have never seen on a paper before.

For each pathogen, know (at a minimum):
-basic structure and structural features, especially those which increase its chance of survival
-methods of replication
-an example of human disease caused by that pathogen
-whether we have treatments for the pathogen and what they might be (at a basic level)
For bacteria, know a bit more, e.g. what prokaryotes are etc...
