Forgot ID at Uni today :/

So yea i was pritning something and i left my card in the machine..i realised a few hours later it wasnt there..What do i do know?

f you have lost your student card, it may have been returned to the Student Administration Office. If this happens, Student Administration staff will email you and ask you to come in and collect it.

You remain responsible for any misuse of your card until it has been reported lost or stolen. For example, the cost of books 'borrowed' with the card or any damage to secured labs.

You should contact the library to suspend the borrowing access of your card, and Security/or other relevant department to cancel access to labs. (If you find your student card, you can request this access be reinstated.)

You only need an ID (like learner's or something). And if you don't have any ID, they just fill in a form saying that you didn't show ID and if your exam result is stupidly high compared with your scores throughout the year they might look into it but most likely it'll be fine.

Cancel your card on Monday, if not you'll find out that someone has picked up free library books that you'll be held liable for

And Russ yea ill only be able to do thsat after my exam on monday. Is there a way i can just do it while at UNI or do i have to call?

I've done an exam without any form of ID and another exam with just my learner's. It was fine

Just rang up the library and cancelled my service.He said  itd be best to get there early cause it might be a problem.

During the exam, the photo ID on your student card is just to verify that you are actually sitting your own exam.  It's to stop people from hiring people to sit the exam for them.
