also do you need units 1&2 to do units 3&4. Is it possible to do unit 3&4 without 1 and 2?

It is possible to do a 3/4 subject without a 1/2 in ALL subjects.

I did Revs 3/4 without doing a History 1/2 - although I had no idea what I was doing...

And look up the study design for 1/2 history - is probably about WWI, Great Depression, WWII, Hitler, Vietnam war, i.e. stuffed if I know.

The 3/4's are most interesting (with the exception of Australian History - bleugh)

yer australian history looks very boring. Did you get 35 because it was hard or you didn't try? although that is a good mark in itself.

unit 1 & 2 history does not correspond to unit 3 & 4 at all. So yes it is very possible to do unit 3 and 4 without unit 1 and 2.

I am currently doing Revs 3/4, without having done any history all through high school except for a semester of year 8 medieval history. I say you can most definitely do it without 1/2. History isn't like Maths, where you need to build up certain foundation skills/concepts before you can tackle others...you will quickly get an idea of how history 'works' after just a few weeks; there are so many common patterns across so many aspects of it that you can just keep applying the same bunch of concepts over the whole year.
