Can someone please confirm this ?

Central executive:
the area of working memory that monitors, coordinates and integrates information from the phonological loop and the visuo spatial sketchpad as well as communicating with long term memory via the episodic buffer

Episodic buffer:
•   Helps retrieve information from LTM to associate with information which is in working memory
•   Select and encode information to LTM

Yepp, it holds 4 chunks of information for a temporary period of time

Poor way of thinking about it. It's a functional component not a storage component.

The episodic buffer links the storage components across all domains to play a role in forming integrated representations of visual/spatial and phonological information with time sequencing, such as a movie scene from memory or story.
it's a slave system which binds the two for easy access from ltm
