Hey guys,
just wondering, what chapters do you need to know to help you with specialist maths next year. what would you struggle with next year if you havent done it in 1/2? I haven't really covered a lot of the chapters in my textbook so am planning to do some relevant topics in the holidays to catch up :)

From the GMA Resource main post:

TOPICS IN GMA RELEVANT FOR SPECIALIST MATHS 3+4:
• Vectors
• Algebra (also draw from Methods knowledge)
• Quadratics and rates (also in Methods 1+2 textbooks)
• Partial Fractions
• Complex Numbers (i, cis, z=x+yi, de Moivre's, etc.)
• Dynamics (forces, equilibrium, coefficient of friction, etc.)
• Kinematics (displacement, velocity, acceleration, etc.)
• Loci (and associated graphs -not essential knowledge though)
• Trig (rules, identities and graphs)
• Angles (all those rules and circle geometry -none of the 'bisecting a line with a protractor' rubbish though)
• Shapes (volumes, surface areas, ratios, 3D vs 2D, etc.)
• Sequences and Series (helps with problem solving, although not necessary)

don't bother with sequences and series is my only advice, a waste of very tedious time....
