...your favourite/least favourite unit or area of study that you learnt about in psych?

i really liked normality and mental health, social relationships, and attitudes or whatever it was called.

my least fav. is the brain and nervous system which was wayyy too biologyish for me.

as for units: 2>1>3>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>4

normality and mental health? social relationships? Are you talking about VCE Psychology or Psychology in general

I only know about VCE Psych

Favourite AOS by was brain and nervous system and visual perception.

I didn't really like Sleep or Memory

Learning was the hardest to undertand, I hated it at the start but im starting to like it

Those topics are from Units 1 & 2. I liked those areas, also.

This year, I liked States of Consciousness (interesting, and super easy). Learning and Memory are fine, and I hated Visual Perception.

Normality/abnormality, mental health etc are touched upon in Unit 2. They are covered extensively in university study.

I liked pretty much everything but research methods. Not that research methods is difficult, just way more boring than everything else.

I've pretty much loved everything in psychology thus far, apart from sleep, which was a tad boring.

Research methods are quite bland, however they are so important, as they are central to the study of psychology. We need to know the basis of the information we are learning, and learn about the different methods of collecting data and different research designs etc. Then we are able to point out flaws in theories by looking at the original research and how it was carried out. That's how how I look at it anyway, lol.

To be honest, I even liked research methods more than visual perception (that's how much I loathe VP)

visual perception was awesome haha, i got full marks for that section on my exam. I really don't like 'learning'. It's way to long and there is so much boring infomation to learn haha. I really loved Sleep because i was just really interested in what the stages were etc..
