When you do practice essays do you come up with new ideas for each essay, or do you just reword the ones you've used in previous essays? I'm asking because i'm finding that the more essays i do, the more it just seems like i'm repeating myself. Does anyone else have the same problem?

Sometimes I'm tempted to do this in Lit, expecially if my old ideas got a good mark, :D But I don't like doing it... so I'm glad that now for the exam I can use the exact same points because the examiner doesn't know me! Yay!

To a degree yeah I do find I'm writing the same essay again and again. Especially in context - I always relate the same issues from the texts, and when I talk about 'current or historical' events I pretty much use the same ones as well.

I don't think theres anything particularly wrong with it, just be extra careful that what you're talking about addresses the promt as directly as possible.

Yeah. This is actually a good thing. It means that you've written enough responses for there to be no huge shock on the real exam.

Exactly. I have a handful of textual evidence/quotes/descriptive words that i use for 'A Man for all Seasons'. Just be weary that when you include your best phrases and most intellectual language in the exam that it is answering the question or contributing to the debate in some way or another haha.

Good luck everybody! I am so scared!
