When a course says you may get an extra point or two for perfomance in business (any), information technology (any), etc

Do they take into consideratIon VET subjects?

For instance, a course I'm interested says:
Consideration will be given to performance in business (any), information technology (any), legal studies, mathematical methods (either) and to Deakin Access and Equity program applicants.

I have done VET Cert 2 Buisness Administration (not equiv to a 3/4) and VET IT Cert 3 (is a 3/4). Would they take into consideration me having completed those 2 subjects?

And also just a general ENTER q. If a course was 75, and I only got 69, would I get a few extra points or marks for living in a rural area (from SEAS) and because I did a business and IT subject?
