Hello VN!
Seeing as it is pretty late now, I don't even know if my thread is posted under the right topic. So feel free to move it mods, if there is a need to.

I was wondering if any of the musically-inclined people in the VN population has any recommendations for a qualified piano teacher to prepare myself to take AMus (piano). I am planning to take my exam in December and I will get started on my programme notes this holiday (I swear).

Basically, I am stuck with an average teacher who can, well, kind of teach, but he doesn't go into the details and I'm not even sure if he's cut to teach diploma. (He has a daughter who's in prep and learning under another teacher - just because she's too mischievious for him to teach.)
And I know that if this goes on any longer, I'll probably flunk my AMus seeing/hearing that the passing rate is only 50%. (My mate passed Grade 8 with a really good distinction score and he barely passed his recital by 3 marks (out of 60).)
Any help is appreciated and I would take into account any advices offered.

That said, have a great holiday.
