Windows 7 Language Bar Question

Ever since I upgraded to Windows 7 and used the in-built language bar for Japanese, I find that it keeps changing the language every time I click away with my mouse/touchpad.

For example, I would start to type a sentence in Japanese "好きなスポーツは" in the Hiragana mode. If I were to click away, e.g. click in between the sentence to add in another word I forgot to make "一番好きなスポーツは", the Input mode would automatically change from Hiragana back to the generic "Input Mode" option, so I type in English. If I wasn't paying attention, it would be like "ichiban好きなスポーツ".

This has only happened to me when I upgraded to Windows 7 and never before in Windows XP. Is there something I can do to stop it changing input modes whenever I click on something or do I have to just bear through it. I'm not sure if people typing on other languages experience this on Windows 7.

hmm not sure how to fix it but ive had a similar problem that happens on my sisters laptop which is windows 7. but mine was like i was typing and then suddenly it would change language and the language toolbar would suddenly show up at the bottom right and then i just clicked away and it would change back to english...its really weird but it only happens rarely so i dont know how to fix it.

Not really a fix but I downloaded and installed Google Japanese Input. Now it seems to work perfectly as I would like it.

Edit: Totally unrelated but why is my post count reseted and my signature wiped? O.O Is it something unique to this forum ?~

It's because this is the national part of AN. In the VN part of AN, your post count and karma are normal. The discrepancy between the two can't be helped, unfortunately.
