1) im doing on Russian Revolution and the two topic i have choosen are war communism and the new economic policy and i have to relate these, to the following question, have a historian quotes etc explain in detail

1) What measures did the Bolsheviks take in response to the challenges they faced from October 1917 to the early 1920s? this is clearly suggests that you need to explain what some of the fundamental challenges were. Focus on the two choosen topics (war communism and new economic policy. there will be a need in some cases to refer Breifly to others ie a discussion of the Kronstadt revolt without referral to the impact of War communism would be rather nonsensical. consider whether there was an overall trend in how the Bolshevisk responded to problems or brought about change.
