Doing a university subject, do you have to get a certain study score for the subject in year 12? Or can anyone enter it?

Check the VTAC for specific requirements. Each subject is different, and unfortunately, the only general answer is a 20+ English SS. But that is the bare minimum for only a few courses, many courses require a 30+ english SS, in addition to other prereq SS cut-offs.

In a nutshell, check the VTAC guide: http://www.vtac.edu.au/publications/guide.html

I think he/she means to do a uni subject what study score do you need.. If you look at the Monash/Unimelb website they make it pretty clear with 40+ I think.. But some people have gotten in with lower scores.. I did Chemistry and Uni chem together in year 12, so I just applied on my other unrelated 3/4 and my other subjects, since I got a high average I was able to do them..

my school subject guide says for enhancement accounting/geography/mathematics you need a "Completion of Accounting/Geography/Methods (CAS) in year 11 with a study score of 40 or higher) but that is probably just my school's requirements so I'm not really sure though.
