how do you increase current in a semi fuel cell?

Not sure about the semi-fuel cell, i havn't come across that yet :/
Fuel cells don't need recharging because they have a constant suply of reactants

I'd imagine a semi fuel cell would be something like an aluminum oxygen fuel cell, where aluminum electrode reacts with a constant supply of oxygen. with the aluminum electrode needing to be replaced over time.
