For me, it kinda depends when I sleep and not how long I sleep, when I have a good sleeping pattern and sleep at around 11pm- midnight then 8 hours is sufficient and i feel fresh the next day. However if I have a shitty sleeping pattern (like i do now), sleeping at like 9am-10am, I sleep for like 12-13 hours and i still feel drowsy the next day. During exam time, my sleeping pattern is completely fucked, i normally don't sleep before my uni exams, however exam performance is unaffected.

When I wake up early, about 8ish-9, my day seems to be very productive but when i get up later, 10:30/11, I hardly do much work..it lacks quality..and quantity of course.
