Hi! I just need a quick clarification in regards to Thornhill.
Does he ultimately try to resolve his conflict with the Aborigines at the end of the novel or is it just a way to suppress his guilt when he tries to catch a glimpse of the Indigenous people?

Thanks!

At the end as a result of his guilt he tries to help out on of the Aboriginals by providing food and accomodation for him. But Long Jack just knocks him back. Which gives Thornhill further guilt.
I suppose in a way he may be resolving it, but it's more that he's trying to ease his conscience..
