The words pristine (line 7), vibrant (line 8), unique (line 10), stunning (line 12) and unspoilt (line 28) belong
to what word class/part of speech. 2 marks.

Its clearly adjective. But what do you write to gain 2 marks ??

And in the assessment report how did 3% get 1 mark ? What did they write.

Adjective would give you the full 2 marks.
"Open-class word" may have given you 1 mark.

Personally, I'd write something along the lines of "These lexemes are adjectives, as they function to further describe features of the nouns they follow"
