Hey Folks. Im stressing out big time so If anyone could answer this i'd be really really grateful.

Anyone know what the cutoff for an A is :/ ?
I was reading peoples comment's and there saying its outta sixty so is it just simply doubled?
So say i get like 6 for LA 8 for text and 7 for context that would be 21/30 right and then that would be 42/60. So what grade would that be??

Once again, I really appreciate the help guys :)

According to last years statistics (http://www.vcaa.vic.edu.au/vce/statistics/2010/section3/vce_english_ga10.pdf), an A cutoff was 42/60, A+ was 47/60 and B+ was 38/60.

It's marked by two assessors. 10 marks from one assessor + 10 from the other = 20 marks, I believe.

Thanks Baws.
CaptainAwesome, I don't get that. 10 from each assessor is twenty overall so then what? Multiply by three

Marked by a minimum of six people actually.
English is funny like that. Very subjective...
Could talk about it in your Whose Reality? essay.

I mean it's marked out of 20 for each piece.
Minimum of six for each piece, or in total?

there is no way the VCAA has the resources to have 6 people mark one piece of writing lmao.

yea I'm fairly sure when they say 'six' it's in reference to all three of ur pieces in total (I.e 3*2=6)

It's 2 assessor's per essay, so technically 6 different assessors for your whole exam.
