Sorry for the wording - originally wrote this for a pm

http://www.vcaa.vic.edu.au/vce/statistics/2010/section3/vce_further_maths_ga10.pdf
and look at the mean and stdev for ga2 and ga3 and then use the normal distribution thing on the Ti-Nspire for it.

e.g. for ga3, 59/60 (THIS IS FOR EXAM 2 NOT EXAM 1 sorry)
menu-5-5-2:
59*2
60*2
66.5
26.5

then
menu-5-5-3
1-ans
30
7

= 48 study score (ignoring sacs and exam 1)

Can anyone confirm this?

its what they use every year; and this would be accurate if you sat last years exam, you can observe the variation from year to year by gonig back over the last few years and doing that same thing if you can be bothered
this year could still be an aberration though so its not confirmable

In fact since I wrote this there's a better way to do the second bit.
It was 7 since the scaled scores are meant to have a mean of 30 and sd of 7.
However, if you want to calculate raw scores, use the mean and SD from here
