How important is the exam score!?!

I'm really worried that I've stuffed up my exam and won't get in the 40's!

My SAC scores are : unit 3: 96/100 and unit 4: 97/100

I wrote really well on The Tempest but I left no time for Atonement and barely wrote an essay.....
Please let me know what you think I can get.

 :)

Exam score is 50%. That said, you're doing very well thus far. When you say you barely wrote an essay, what do you mean? Did you get time to conclude and such? If so, they'll count it, shouldn't matter how short it is. I've heard it's still possible to get a 50 even if you don't get "100%" in your exam. Apparently they look at your worth thus far and weigh it all up. If everybody who got 49s only ever got 99/100 for everything, it'd be a very competitive world we lived in. There's a range. And I'm sure you'll still get in the 40s, or close to regardless.

All the best. I'm sure you'll be great and I'm glad to hear you're doing well.

(P.S; If I'd been in your school and done your texts, I would've gobbled them up! I love both your play and book <3)

Barely meaning two incoherent paragraphs and a quick conclusion. I'm hoping its not as bad as I remember it! And thank you this has made me feel a lot better.

And they were the best texts. I loved literature this year!! I can't believe its over :(

All the best to you as well.

I'm glad to help. I think it's just because Lit means so much to us we don't want to do badly? I've been swaying from happy to completely distressed to normal to happy and back again.

And yes, oh my gosh. I'm hoping if I do well I can tutor Lit, just because  I adore it so. I am going to miss it so much. Favourite subject. Only subject you see people coming out looking upset it's over, that is true. To think it boils down to this. Seriously though, Briony and Caliban and things. So much love <3 I will always fondly remember it.

Cheers. I'm anxiously awaiting Dec 16th! =/

You don't have to do well to tutor Lit! I'm sure you'd be an amazing tutor vivj, even if you scored 0 as your study score :p

demongleekgazza, aw. That did mean a lot to me and I do appreciate your kind words. And if I do get 0 as my study score I'm going to go right ahead with it! =p
