oh ok. Also, i just checked the distant ed website and you were right it is $800 per year for private school students.
Btw, would you happen to know a little more about how a distance education subject is run. How often you go into campus. Does your teacher email you h.w. How to do Sacs ( do you go into campus or as a take home assessment - if so how to prevent cheating?) Exams?
Thanks

Speaking as someone who did distance ed french, there will be an online portal in which each of your weeks work will be posted at the beginning of the semester (you can work ahead if you wish). Each week, you will be required to complete and submit a set amount of work (called a workset) via online submission. At the beginning of the semester you should also get a booklet of all your worksets as well. Should you wish you could alternatively snail-mail in each of your worksets (but this takes more time both to get there and to receive corrections).

They should also hold seminar days in which contact hours are encouraged (but not forced) and students studying the subject via distance will be given the opportunity to meet up together.
