Historiography Help?

How do you structure a historiography response, for document or cartoon analysis.

Is it a full historiography response? :/ or combined with your analysis??

I take the key parts of your analysis, and especially the part of the rev its related to, and find historians views, and tecahers like it if you can find conflicting opinions and compare/evaluate them in terms of your topic in relation to the part of the rev (i.e causes and tensions of the rev../creating new society)
