University Help

Hey guys,
As a year 12 I am considering my uni for next year. I am not entirely sure of the university I wish to go to in the future.
I really enjoy commerce subjects and wish to major in accounting.
As I live in Geelong, I am considering Commerce/Law at Warum Ponds (enter: 85) however, my friends do not consider it to be a terrific uni. I don't understand why they see this. What do you think of it?
As a student who is willing to commute to Melbourne next year, (unfortunely I don't think I can get into melb uni: 96) any suggestions for other good commerce/accounting degrees would be greatly appreciated. 

Does anyone know if larger companies such as pricewater house cooper, would be willing to hire deakin uni students...or would the bulk of the hiring be monash and uni of melb students?

Mmm... I've also heard great things about Accounting @ RMIT.

I think BCom/BLaw @ Deakin is a good, solid degree.
I'm not sure whether ur 1st position as a graduate will b with 1 of the Big4, but (with good results and some exp) I would most certainly set it in ur sights within a few years of graduating.
