Need some help.

I'm new to this forum, haha.

Now, if someone could help me, I need some predictions and a few things cleared up.
Firstly, I am starting Year 11 this year and I am studying:
3/4 Bio
1/2 English
1/2 Methods (CAS)
1/2 Physics
1/2 Business Management
1/2 Chemistry

I am aiming to study Biomedicine at Melbourne or Monash, I don't mind which one.
I was wondering ''Roughly'' what study scores I will need in these subjects, also, If someone could give a estimate about how much homework/study I must do a night.

At the moment, I am motivated, A pretty good student and I really want to do this. I haven't really done that much work in the past few years but I know these two years will determine most of my life, so I really want to do well.
These reason I didn't do too well in the past few years is because of computer games being a big distraction but I have lay'd of the games and wont play them much in the next two years.
Another thing is I have a girlfriend which I love, we've been going out for 6 months now. Is this a bad thing?
Am I still able to get into Bio Med if I have a girlfriend during VCE?

Also, should I mostly focus on getting a good score in Biology since it's my only 3/4 this year?

Also, If I don't get the ATAR required, what are some other ways to get get into medicine?

Why not aim for undergrad Monash Med too?

As for Biomed (UoM), the clearly-in for the last intake was 99.00 ATAR :O So I'd say that would correspond to a raw 41 in all your subjects.

Am I still able to get into Bio Med if I have a girlfriend during VCE?

I'm inclined to say "no" because I belive in getting a good grasp of basics from 1/2 as it will make 3/4 much easier (esp. methods, chem, english, physics). But it depends on your study technique, many on this forum would disagree with me here, and that's fine too

Of course! There are graduate pathways and taking a gap-year to resit the UMAT is also a popular option

That again depends on how you study. But I'd say that doing 3 solid hrs per night would be fine (if not too much on occasions)

Closer to exam, I did ~6, but it depends per person

1) You're going to need a 99 for UoM or like 92 for Monash (someone double check that), unless you have SEAS. That means at least an aggregate of 193 or ~164. You work that out with your subjects based on your strengths.
2) Schools will often say 3 hours a night. I did between 30minutes to 5 hours depending on what was going on that week. I don't see much reason to the 3 hours a night adage, base it on what needs to be done and your energy levels.
3) don't break up with your girlfriend for study, make a compromise with her if necessary. Definitely not in yr11
4) Yeah, focus on bio, aim for 40+

Hmmm: being the sort of person I am, and picking on the little things: a girlfriend WHICH I love?? very nice.

I recommend ATARCalc if you want to figure out your scores.

Lol. I am concentrating on yr 12 this year...so i kinda put my relationships on a hold. but thats just me:)

In no way break up with your gf for study...don't listen to people trying to tell you that you can't have fun/pursue other interests during VCE.  The most successful VCE students i know, were top level sportsmen/debaters/whatever extra-curricular interests they had, had a social life and this actually helped them be motivated and aware of what needed to be done academically wise as well.

Never said that you should break he should break up with his gf. I just showed what I did, but that was my decision as I already have too many  outside commitments.
