What Engineering electives at Monash should I choose?

Hello.

I'm having a bit of trouble deciding which electives I should choose in my first year.
I need advice and a bit of insight into the electives listed below:

    ENG1010 Process systems analysis
    ENG1020 Engineering structures
    ENG1030 Electrical systems
    ENG1040 Engineering dynamics
    ENG1050 Engineering materials

Engineering dynamics and stuctures is already on my list of subjects. Dynamics, because mechanics appeals to my interests and structures, because occupations involving civil engineering seem more stable.

Career-wise, mechanical engineering is my first preference. But other than that, I haven't yet had the oppurtunity to fully explore my engineering interests.

What electives would you choose? And why?

Thanks everybody :)

Out of these, Materials is by far the most boring in my opinion.

Seriously most Engineering fields have great job opportunities (all over the world). DON'T pick civil if that's the only reason for picking it.
Pick the field you enjoy the most =) .

Hey there :)!

Yeah I suppose. But I want to hear what other students have to say about these electives! :D Like, what their reasoning behind choosing some electives and not another was.

But thanks anyway :)
