OK I was trying not to get draw into this conversation/argument

I have been waiting so long for you to say something! I think you can - as you have - give a great insight into our argument, since it appears that you are the only one here who has completed and done well in both subjects.

Also note that for girls a certain something may occur at the wrong time and may not be 100% feeling right at the time of the exam

Nothing a little nurofen can't fix :P
Not that I'm an expert in the field, but some can get it a lot worse than others, with nurofen not fixing the problem well, but then that is just not as common I suppose.

There was more that I wanted to add, but my thoughts were a bit all over the place after typing that up, and by the time I had got to the end I'd forgotten to add 1 or 2 points.

having done all three maths

b^3

You have done your penance and you have redeemed yourself by the top quality maths you do in helping others on AN.
So, I'll forgive you just this once , but dont do it again, OK :)

That doesn't even make sense, lad. He won't do the three maths again, and he doesn't need your forgiveness for doing them

(AN chocolate) <tisaraiscool> Does it taste like b^3's brain?

Yeah, your past posts have been dickheadish, but this is clearly a troll post. Banned for a week - don't do it again.

To be honest, personal attacks are not on, not only is it a logical flaw (ad hominem) but it is also a very low attack that just shows how little respect you have for other people.
You've already been banned, but I'll tell you this, argonaut, the way you look at other people needs to change. This isn't the first time you've been condescending towards others. I don't know if you understand or not, but generally people do not like it when you look down on them and talk to them like children. That sort of behaviour is really not on. I have no problems that you sometimes have questionable views because you're entitled to. But keep away from personal attacks and being condescending. In summary, you're a dickhead and an asshole.

Also, the way that you talk about those who do not do specialist maths is abhorrent. Claiming that if the top 500 specialist students did Further that basically the 50s will only be amongst them is completely bullshit and wrong. Are you implying that those who do not do specialist maths cannot get 100/100 for SACs and 100% for both exams? If you did, well, fuck you, asshole, you've essentially just insulted two of my friends who got 50 in Further with basically 100% marks, without doing specialist maths.

Anyway, in regards to the main argument, I agree with b^3. He's basically summed up everything well.
