SAC 1

Hey guys :) how are you doing?

Our first Sac is coming up, and I've read that pretty much each school does a totally different style

I'm not liking the one at our school very much, we have to research 3 aspects of the lead up to the revolution, and get to take in notes (mostly quotes etc) to answer a question that will relate to any 3 we pick (I've done 2 long term, 1 short term)

What are you all doing??

I've been feeling a bit overwhelmed with all the handouts we've been getting lately. =P Those poor trees...

We're doing an exam-style SAC out of 50 marks. Not sure when it is, though.

Do you know when you have yours?

We are doing a research report with 4 topics that will cover leaders, ideas, movements, and events.
No material allowed, though we are allowed to select the leader before the SAC.

We're structuring it in an extended response form. Shouldn't be too bad... I hope

Good luck to all!

Good luck!
That sounds so much better then mine

It's so ambiguous :/

on that note: for anyone doing French/possibly American revolution:::
one of my topics is the effect of the American revolution on pre-revolutionary France
and considering I havn't studied the American Revolution,
would it be sufficient enough to include:
The financial impact on France
The social impact (The idea of Independence and a democracy, 'The American Spirit'
and key figures like Lafayette, anyone else?
we didn't cover much of it in class...so I'm just working out what to put in
...i could have chosen something easier, but I find this interesting

I'm not doing the American Revolution saheh but that looks like a good list you've got there.

Our SAC 1 is divided into three parts spaced about a week apart, each of which is a ten mark extended response question. The time between probably makes it easier, but they've all been marked fairly savagely (very few scoring 9 or above). Is it true that some schools let you bring in notes?
