Hi all,
sorry if this question has been asked.
I'm just wondering if the sacs really do count?
Is it possible to get in the 40s if you do poorly in your sacs all year?

cheers.

It might bring up your sacs score(average B,B+) of you do really well in exams.
But it is impossible to get 40 + if u did badly in your sac.
You might end up with high 30s

If you do poorly in your SACs 40+ is pretty much impossible.

Assuming this is a maths/science, approximately 33-36 raw

Assuming english, a little lower than that

I got 23.5/25 for my first biology sac and 18/25 for my second one.
This is before scaling. Is it still possible for me to get a 40+?
Or did that 18/25 ruin my chances?

Since we're asking, can I still potentially get a 50 since I got 19/20 for a Further SAC?

It's still possible but always obviously difficult to get a 50 for any subject. Just ace both exams and try not to drop any more marks on your SACS throughout the year. :)

Oh wow didn't know it had that much affect.
For methods, what would I be looking at if I got say an A for SACS and A+ for exams? Is a 40+ possible?

Yeah definitely, you'd have to get slightly above the A+ marks for both exams though. Keep a high rank in your cohort and they could scale to A+.
