Weird prompt, I wonder how many people are going to entitle their essay 'A Reality Named Desire'.

Well, it's not quiet weird, it's just vague and so I am unsure on how to elaborate and expose the ideas related to this prompt

So basically the prompt means that our desires and wants can often make us forget or perhaps see our "reality" incorrectly. Have you read a book or study a film in class? If so I would probably make a link to a character or a theme to elaborate on the promt and provide some useful quotes. Its kinda hard  :-[ , sorry I hope that helps a little.

"Our desire clouds our reality"

For this you have to explore how what we want prevents us from accessing the world around us in a manner that even approaches accuracy. i.e. Blanche can't see the world as it is because she wants it to be otherwise. This is especially pertinent towards the end of the movie, when, in the words of Pope Benedict, "that bitch goes batshit crazy".
Look for symbols throughout the play to draw upon.
Graduated 2011 and am now studying Arts/Law at Monash: ATAR of 99.35 Currently have limited availabilities for tutoring English (47),  message me for details.
