My teachers call it a hybrid
But I still reckon its a form of expository, as you are 'exposing' a personal side in regard to the prompt. because if it's an anecdote it's not imaginary

Do a
Couple practise ones and have fun with it :)

There are quotes from Growing up Asian in Australia that i want to use but contain profanity. So when i use them, do i write it as it is or substitute symbols into the rude words?
e.g "Are you fucking homo?" should i just write "Are you f*@king homo?"

For SACs, ask your teacher (in case they have a gripe about swearing). For the exam, go for your life - after all, this is your text :)
