:)

I don't want anything too hard ... I bought Harry Potter Part 1 off Amazon, flicked on subtitles, and still didn't get it O_O

But yeah, anyone have any ideas?

I adore watching french movies, I can honestly say, they have  probably helped my french fluency more than my shoddy french tutor..They are really superb for getting used to the quickness of French tongue!

There are lots of full french films on Youtube with both English and French subs, whatever tickles your fancy.

Some of my favourite french films include:
-Amelie (Youtube has this in full with English subtitles)
-District B13
-LOL (this is a chick flick)
-L'Affaire Farewell
-La Vie en Rose

Check the TV guide every weekend for SBS and keep your eyes peeled for french films. Everyday Friday has become "French Movie Friday!" for me  :P

If you're after listening practice, there are scores of really fabulous (and free!) French podcasts on iTunes. Some of them are 'tutor equivalents' and offer lessons, there are some french radio broadcasters and there are some news programs read specifically in slow French for better comprehension.

Bonne chance!

Find any teenage movies that contain the kind of language you would use for the general discussion

Il y a une film francaise qui s'appelle <L'Heure d'été> sur SBS dans la nuit de demain, si quelqu'un est intéressé.
Il a une 93% 'fraîche' évaluation sur Tomates Rottom!

(There's a French film called 'Summer Hours' on SBS at 9.25 tomorrow night if anyone's interested. It has a 93% 'Fresh' rating on Rotton Tomatoes.)
