Well, the lecture notes are pretty good but I found that one of the letcurers wasn't too great.

The Irena person from TSFX who always lectures isn't very good... had her for Methods last year and I think she does the Chem ones as well.
point being: tsfx gives good notes, but the lectures itself arent worth the price.

I went for unit3 but not for unit4, the lecture itself isn't that great as people above have mentioned, very long and draining. Furthermore for me I found that the notes were really good however sometimes their method of solving a few problems was different to the way i had learnt it and that was confusing but i guess you could just use your own way anyway. Overall it's definitely not worth $150 (i think that was the price).

That's what i think anyway, others may have different experiences :)

Irena is obsessive, this is what is colouring everyone's impressions.  It's not that she isn't good, but she gives you basically no breaks throughout the lecture, and singlemindedly tries to keep everyone in their seats.  She is actually a pretty decent teacher, but I know I and other people get so frustrated when we don't get breaks.

I went last weekend and I thought it was awesome.. I had Irena for the whole day, and I've had her before, and maybe it's just my learning style but she was so helpful for me. The lecture really helped review what we had done in term one and go into some finer points which actually have come up on practice exams that I've been doing.. The notes are really good, but without the lecture would have been pretty much useless as they're far too much (for me anyway) to go through in my own time. I also went to a Pathways lecture, which went into far less detail and was not helpful for me in the slightest, particularly as the second lecturer kept making mistakes in what she was saying and confused me more than anything else. I'd really recommend the TSFX lecture, and Irena did actually give us a break pretty much every hour and a half which I thought was plenty!
