You could also distinguish glycosidic bonds from ether bonds as there are such linkages like N-glycosidic and S-glycosidic bonds. An example that comes to mind would be the N-glycosidic linkages in nucleic acids (Base to Sugar)
If in doubt just put ether bond (in the case of R-O-R'), can't really go wrong.
