Considering going to maths lectures XD
If i do i'll go to DHA as i've heard very good things about these, but i just have a few questions as 2 full days out of (direct) exam prep and eng prep is a reasonable committment.

Mainly intended to people who've gone:

1) Is it worth going to and why? Personally as i know the courses by now i can't see why it would be as good as some people say, what does DHA do to make the time worthwhile?

2) For exam technique, minimisation of errors etc, is the advice quite "general" i.e. if i go to specialist would i need to go to methods as well? (i'm considering going to spesh, but not methods, but both are likely top 4 subjects at this stage)

3) If i have the books already, are the lectures much more useful? What else does he do in his lectures that would warrant the time commitment? (again related to question 2, do i need to go to both? how useful is going to 2 compared to 1?)

thanks very much :) !

Questionable board placement again mods (apologies), can either leave here or move to correct board and i'll log out to read LOL

Email him. I sent him email to ask about my books and he responds within 1-2 days

Depend though, sometimes he doesn't check his email and you need to wait 2 weeks lol

Yeah but the thing is he will be biased obviously, i was just hoping to hear from previous students whether attending both helps compared to one mainly ( in terms of exam techniques and such )
I've decided to go to one lecture, specialist ( most likey) and am wondering whether the second raises more very useful specific techniques or the exam technique and error minimisation is more general

Istafa told me he was amazing, and highly endorses it.
and he got 50s so, id imagine theyre good!

Out of curiosity, what are your plans to do in that time instead?

I can get 3 sets done in tht time, but most likely, an english essay and 2 sets

Personally, and I didn't go to his lectures (and I wish I did), I don't think a few prac exams trumps his lectures. You can do prac exams any time.
