Body Paragraphs - Section A

Would having two 250w body paragraphs instead of the conventional, 3-4 body paragraphs ruin your chances to score high? Is it like, the more ideas/themes you show, the better or it all depends on the quality of the body paragraphs regardless of how many you show?

Thanks.

Depends how high you're aiming. Quality is more important than quantity, but at the top ranges (40+), people begin to have both anyway. It's best to adequately prove your point with enough evidence then move on to another. Reiterating the same point over and over again gets a bit dry in my opinion rather than actually increasing your quality.

Well, I doubt two body paragraphs is enough to substance - like there has to be a certain amount of flesh to your essay as well, it can't just be all ideas and evidence.

As Paul has pointed out, I struggle to see you doing well with two body paragraphs. Would love to see it done, though.

Will you be able to explore the prompt and it's implications in it's totality, in two, 250 word paragraphs?

I write heaps (explains my handwriting). I'm not a succinct writer, so it takes me lots of writing to get my point across and explore everything I want to.

In my SACs, I've averaged at about 1200-1400 words, while a friend of mine who consistently writes 900-1000 words is ranked equally with me in terms of SACs.

As the guys have said - quality over quantity. That doesn't mean you can get away with writing the bare minimum, though, it still needs to be an acceptable length for a coherent piece of prose at year 12 level.
Aspiring doctor. Why? For the same four reasons as everybody else. Chicks, money, power and chicks.
