This topic is kind of confusing me -.-
Can someone please give me a summary of the workplace relations history in australia. I understand that now we're under Fairworks Australia but hows that different to Workchoice?

cheers

Workchoices (2006)
Collective agreements were reduced. (i.e. more power to the bosses).
Fair work Act (2009)
Fair Work Australia sets a fairer minimum standard of rules. (higher than 2006)
The workers and bosses get together to decide rules on pay and conditions
Collective agreement: union and boss agreement
AWA’s are no longer allowed  (individual and boss agreement)
