Hi, what are some recommendable lectures out there for English. I'm aware that TSFX will be running one during the holidays, but I think its a bit too long. Any suggestions...

I completely endorse VATE.

Have you actually been to the end of year lecture, did they provide any notes on the topics?

If you want a cheaper option, ConnectEducation offers lectures...

Went for Lit last year. Notes on each of the texts (which was very useful) and a booklet on how to write in the essay style (which was really quite accurate). Plus the quality of discourse amongst attendees was fantastic.

For English though EZ, I reckon text-based lectures are more useful than exam/essay focused lectures, so to speak. At least personally.

Depends on the student I would say, although point definitely taken that Connect's lectures won't serve the purposes for all students.  :)  Also I didn't realise you were at my Lit lecture last year!!!

I wasn't haha, my Lit post was in regards to VATE's Lit lectures! You posted a few seconds before me! I'd better make that clearer (:

I definitely wish I had gone, if that's any consolation :p I did read the sample notes.
