30 mins, especially in chem where there are little tricks. But then again, I don't use reading time to do a few...I focus on dissecting the short answer.

I'd probably spend 20 to 30 minutes total on it total, but I don't finish it off in one shot at the start. I do all the easy questions on the exams first, and then go back and forth, tackling the harder questions.

But you need good organisation skills when you skip questions. I found I always got paranoid and keep checking if I answered each question properly as I couldn't remember which one I skipped/partially completed.
