Are the endocrine system and hormones in unit 2? I think its important for unit 3 preparation

Unit 3 is similar to unit 1 and unit 4 is about heredity (chromosomes, genes, DNA, tools and techniques) + evolution. I assume unit 4 is more related to year 10 knowledge like Punnett square, etc,...

From memory,
- the different structures in cells and their function
-prokaryotic cells vs. eukaryotic cells
-plant cell structure (xylem and phloem)
-phospholipid membrane: its structure and function
-hydrophilic and hydrophobic, what they mean
- osmosis, diffusion, bulk transport ...
- plant hormones like auxin (think this is in unit 2, i only did unit 1)
-differences in sexual and asexual reproduction, mitosis and meiosis stages but you go into wayyy more detail in year 12
-equations of respiration and photosynthesis
-how to write a hypothesis and what are control variable (this is mostly for unit 3)

I remember learning all this stuff about the circulatory and respiratory system in year 11 bio as well; NONE of this stuff was in the 3/4 course
Unit 4 biology content isn't touched on in 1/2 cause you do genetics and evolution. but like Ennjy said, year 10 punnet square knowledge will suffice

Adding more for unit 3:
AOS1: biomolecules, enzymes
AOS2: detecting & responding (endocrine, nervous system, infection and disease, immunity)

Most of the stuff will be covered again and it isn't all that hard.

The massive lists above are mostly correct but sort of unnecessary.

The main things you will need to know are:

* biomacromolecules (proteins, lipids, carbohydrates, nucleic acids)
* Remembering some meiosis/mitosis will be handy but not absolutely necessary
* Membrane structure
   -> Osmosis, Diffusion - Why and how?

If you can, it might be a good idea to keep your book rather than selling it.
