Staying 100% focused during practice exams/real exams.

For subjects like Literature, this isn't a problem. However with spesh/methods (exam 2's), I always tend to lose focus. I know I'm not the only one, my friend is like this with his English Language trial exams and essays.

Is there any method that you guys use to maintain focus during both trial and (not so much) real exams?

Thanks.

How many trial exams are you doing? At what point do you lose focus?

I aim for 2 exam 2's a day. I lose focus within 40mins to 1 hour =/ depends on how boring the exam is lol

Go somewhere really quiet and boring and do them then there. Provide yourself with a reward after. I find that gets me to do my exams sometimes.  :P

Hmmm, to be honest, I know what is a "typical question" from VCAA will be like. In saying this, when I do the kilbaha papers I generally go "lol, this will never be asked on an exam, it isn't even in English" and then just give up.

Hmm, but do you guys ever lose focus during an exam, even real exams? If so, how do you fix it D=?

I never do in a real exam but I'm a strong thinker so I mentally tell myself that I can do this and that I HAVE TO put my all into this... and then, I rest after.  :) What do you get distracted by?

Well, my house is pretty damn loud and my local library closes quite early :/ I think being continually distracted is what does it to me. D= I'm going to start doing them tomorrow with some music on, hopefully that clears stuff up :/

kind of off-topic, but during the exam I often look up and see how others are going. This is such a bad habit that I'd never get rid of! >< That's also where I often lose a lot of times :(
Any suggestions to this?

I do that sometimes!
Try to focus on yourself if you can! Just know that you are wasting precious time.. Just the thought of that forces me back to my own work...
